With over four decades of experience in the financial industry, Bill Frankenstein has built a career grounded in knowledge and integrity. His journey began in 1978, inspired by the mentorship of Dick Silverstein, who taught financial planning at the insurance agency where Bill started his career. Since then, he has become a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) and a licensed Life and Disability Agent, specializing in Retirement Planning, Investment Planning, and Risk Management.
A pivotal moment in Bill's career was when he sold a disability policy to a client who later suffered a stroke and became disabled. The monthly benefits from that policy allowed his client to cover expenses for the rest of his life. This experience reinforced Bill’s belief in the value of thorough, forward-thinking planning.
Bill’s approach to financial advising centers on truly understanding each client’s unique needs, goals, and expectations. He prides himself on doing what is in his clients' best interests, guided by the core principles of honesty and integrity. To stay informed, Bill regularly reads financial planning publications and the Cetera Daily Marketing brief, ensuring he provides the most up-to-date advice.
What motivates Bill most is knowing that his work has a meaningful impact on his clients’ lives, helping them achieve their financial goals. Outside the office, he enjoys golf, magic, and traveling. He is also active in his community through the American Legion and the Shriners. A key lesson Bill learned from a friend’s financial loss in the Enron collapse is the importance of diversification—a principle he emphasizes in his practice today.
Looking ahead, Bill plans to continue working for as long as possible, believing that if you love what you do, there’s no reason to retire. He is excited about the potential of new technologies to further improve financial planning and hopes to continue making a positive impact on both his clients and his community.
A diversified portfolio does not assure a profit or protect against loss in a declining market.
